1 day of training from 8 am till about 5 pm.

This course is specifically designed for those who want to learn how to shoot more accurately and more proficiently. There is no age limit so anyone can come as long as they are SAFE! This class is geared for new shooters as well as old shooters who want to learn about the proper fundamentals of shooting. This is an ideal class for the whole family! Father's bring your wives, sons and daughters with you. Also, when you sign up, ask about our family rates and/or other group discounts. We will cover a lot of great information in this class! There will be lots of dry-fire exercises to help you build in proper technique and since you will only shoot 300-400 rounds, you won't leave feeling exhausted or overworked. Students will learn about:

- Gun Safety
- Basic gun handling skills
- Weapon manipulation exercises
- How to safely load and unload your pistols
- How to stand
- How to grip the gun
- Sight picture vs. sight alignment
- What to focus on when you are shooting
- Presenting the weapon to the target
- Trigger control
- Follow through
- Basic reloads and
- How to properly care for your pistol and equipment
Equipment needed:
- Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber (.22 to .45 cal please, no Desert Eagles guys! Gotcha!)
- At least 3 magazines (or clips as some of you like to call them) OR
- A Revolver with moon clips or speed loaders (if you have them)
- Eye and Ear protection
- A chair
- Money for lunch
- 300-400 rounds of ammunition
- Pen and paper for taking notes
- Note: you do not need a holster, a belt, or magazine pouches for this class.
